Design and engineering
Our in-house design and sheet metal engineers team works with the latest in computer-aided design (CAD) software to deliver tailored and accurate solutions for successful assembly, quality products and durable lifecycles.
We work alongside our customers every step of the way to ensure value engineering and design input from project conception through volume production.


CNC laser and punch profiling
Our CNC laser cutting and punching metal capabilities provide
a seamless process that combines the latest in steel fabrication technology.
Our x4 Amada CNC punching machinery with auto-loading facilities offers unrivalled efficiency in a lights-out manufacturing environment, punching part numbers, special forms, profiling and more, while our fully automated 3kw and 12kw Fibre laser cutting machines ensure all profiling needs are met with ultimate precision for CAD-guided CNC cutting services.

CNC Tube Laser Cutting
Our 3kw Tube Cutting Fibre Laser ensures no downtime as the process can start right away. This technique is not affected by external situations like environments, temperatures, light, or tube conditions, stabilizing operations with high adaptability.

CNC bending and PEM Insertion
Our CNC sheet metal bending and PEM insertion capabilities provide unrivalled efficiency. Our sheet metal folding process comprises four 120T Amada press brakes alongside an HTC auto-tool-changing press brake – all programmed and fulfilled by our very own skilled CNC operatives who utilize the support of a state-of-the-art tooling library.
There is no doubt that EFS has the capacity and capability to support a varied range of products with sheet metal bending and PEM fastener solutions.

Salvagnini P4 Panel Bender
Our automated sheet metal forming P4 Panel Bender Promises to diminish production lead times, accelerate in house operation and in turn empower EFS to further deliver large volumes of high-quality product.
Offering universal bending tools which automatically adapt in cycle to the panel geometry, without any machine downtime or manual retooling allowing much larger batch productions.
With advanced programming the Salvagnini can complete an average of 17 folds per minute – this will significantly reduce Lead times and delays.

Hydraulic Press
Our Coil Fed 200T C-Type Power Press machines allows for the volume production of hard tool formed product.
Equipped with advanced high-precision tools, including fixed lengthened rectangular slide guides ensuring accurate and consistent fabrication results for even the most intricate metal components.


Welding and fabrication
Our in-house metal fabricators offer a range of welding capabilities for quality and durable solutions, including five dedicated MIG welding, TIG welding and laser welding stations.
Utilising robust fixturing and manual welding techniques, the EFS metal fabricators team is made up of highly skilled welders who deliver on all levels of complexity.


Powder coating
The EFS powder coating process is streamlined for an efficient and quality finish every time, utilising our GEMA quick-colour-change automated paint plant.
In-house metal powder coating capabilities ensure we remain in tight control over the delivery of powder coating. Our automated paint plant offers 1000+ hours of anti-corrosion resistance and our offline paint booth offers solutions for applications too large for an automated process – ensuring no product is too large to be finished to the required standards.


Assembly
Our sheet metal fabrication and assembly teams have a host
of experience and knowledge from across a wide range
of materials, applications and assemblies with the facility
to provide in house ‘turn- key’ solutions .
No job is too big or too small for us at EFS, with dedicated assembly lines and tools in place within our 60,000 sq ft site – our commitment to quality and precision follows us right up to final assembly.

Storage and delivery
Our warehousing operates out of a 60,000 sq ft purpose-built factory which is able to hold a sizeable variety of finished goods, customer inventory and steel stock.
We have also secured transport networks across the UK in order to ensure sheet metal delivery is conducted in line with customer delivery requirements.
