This  project required the high-precision and structurally certified welding that EFS is known for. Valued at £500K annually, the project began at the beginning of 2022 and is ongoing to this day.

Brief

EFS was entrusted with the task of engineering and the on-going manufacture of complex frames to be integrated with gas and chemical delivery systems for the production of semiconductors. The project aimed to develop robust high tolerance enclosures that would meet the industry’s stringent requirements for safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Since initiating the work EFS has gone on to expand into a total of 4 variations the Enclsures, each with a bill of material calling for over 120 different components and hard ware kits.

Key Stats

  • Project Length: January 2022 – On-going
  • Project Value: £500,000 annually
  • High Precision, Structurally Certified Weld

Products used

The units were fabricated using CNC Bending and PEM Insertion processes with start-of-the-art technology that is programmed and fulfilled by EFS’ skilled CNC operatives. While CNC Laser and Punch Profiling provide ultimate precision and unrivalled efficiency.

EFS welders have undertaken structurally certified welds, utilising robust fixturing and manual welding techniques. Automated and Offline Powder Coat processes were ideal for a pristine, streamlined, quality finish every time, as our commitment to quality and precision follows us right up to final assembly.
